In This </Body> is a short poetic documentary and a curation of resistance that will feature artists, educators, and activists who's work is inherently political. Our speakers are leaders in their communities and platforms. Words will trigger actions woven throughout the documentary in the form of curated protest performances. Featuring: Hawk Newsome, Fifth God, Selima Jumarali, Steven Willis, Joanna Fang, I.O.D and more

New Media, Ltd. was recently named “25 New Faces of Independent Film” by Filmmaker Magazine, has been nominated for a Webby and has films premiered at SXSW.

"The Fatalist" is a short film about Sebastian, an American war veteran based in Afghanistan, who fails to prevent the foreseeable death of his dear comrade in arms, Mike. Upon returning home in Harlem, Sebastian obsesses over his undeterred ideas on predestination, thus endangering the lives of his friends, and more importantly, his girlfriend, Bela.
