Alisha Bhowmik is a multi-racial, multi-hyphenate artist from Arkansas currently based in Brooklyn, NY. She’s a graduate of NYU Tisch School of the Arts with a B.F.A. in acting in conjunction with the Atlantic Acting School. She produced the feature film Blow Up My Life, which won Best Film at Harlem International Film Festival ‘23 and had a limited AMC theatrical run in fall ‘23. She has produced and/or directed short films and music videos that have been awarded a Vimeo Staff Pick, NoBudge Best of the Year 2022 and have been featured in Huffington Post, Refinery29, NYLON and PAPER magazine. Her short documentary Dot & a Feather was the first Sundance Collab Challenge winner. She was selected for the Cine Qua Non Lab Storylines Lab in 2024 for her feature film. Alisha currently works as a film producer at acclaimed advertising agency Droga5 (clients: Essentia Water, Chase Bank, AdCouncil, Atlassian).
